Our current practice
Pals Post does not sell your personal information. We have never accepted money for it and we do not provide it to data brokers.
We do serve Google AdSense. When advertising is switched on, Google may use cookies to personalize the ads you see, and California law can treat that as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We would rather tell you that plainly than argue the definition.
How to opt out
Either of these stops it, and both take effect immediately:
- Open our and turn Advertising off.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — see below.
Ads do not disappear when you opt out; they stop being personalized to you. That is the part we get paid slightly less for, and it is your call, not ours.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser sends it, advertising is switched off automatically on your first visit — you do not have to find this page or touch the cookie panel.
If you later turn Advertising back on yourself in our cookie settings, we treat that as your deliberate choice and respect it over the browser default. Turning it off again, or clearing your cookies, puts the automatic opt-out back.
Analytics is separate
Global Privacy Control is an opt-out of sale and sharing, so it does not switch off Google Analytics, which we use to see which stories get read. If you want that off too, the Analytics switch in our does it.

To ask about your personal information — access, correction, or deletion — email [email protected]. We respond to every request, regardless of where you live.
