Over the last few days, rumors began circulating that Palworld Online was running beta sign-up ads in Taiwan. A quick look at the Facebook Ad Library confirms the rumors, as ads started appearing on Meta platforms on August 14th and 15th.
Although the ads were delivered to users in Taiwan and didn’t appear in five other major markets, that doesn’t mean Garena targeted the region specifically. Meta doesn’t disclose detailed targeting parameters for commercial ad campaigns, so we can’t see their exact audience settings.
That said, seeing Taiwan targeted first isn’t a surprise. Taiwan is one of Garena’s primary regional hubs, making it a standard testing ground for closed regional betas before a wider global push.
While Western gamers are used to worldwide simultaneous playtests, mobile publishers like Garena typically run localized soft launches across specific territories to strain-test servers and gather initial player data.
What we can confirm is that the campaign floating around online is legitimate. The ads come directly from the official Palworld Online Facebook and Instagram accounts, making this our first solid sign of an upcoming beta test.
Below are a few of the ads being shown in Taiwan via Meta.

When rumors of the Palworld Online beta first hit, the link floating around looked sketchy at first glance. But the domain, survey-site.com, isn’t some random phishing trap.
It’s a standard third-party form handler commonly used for beta registrations, playtest sign-ups (like the ones for Delta Force early access recruitment), and promotional player feedback. It’s meant to process data behind the scenes, not serve as a direct brand landing page.
We won’t drop the direct link here, though. Garena clearly rolled this out for specific test markets, and there’s no reason to flood a regional form with outside traffic.
For now, all eyes are on Garena to see whether this Taiwan test stays a limited regional soft launch or marks the first step toward a global rollout.
