It might sound wild at first, but a Palworld and No Man’s Sky collaboration actually makes sense once you look at what’s already in both games.
The idea comes out of a recent back and forth between Palworld’s Head of Publishing and Communications, John “Bucky” Buckley, and No Man’s Sky founder Sean Murray on X.
It started when Bucky brought up No Man’s Sky as a collaboration he’d want when pointing out that Pocketpair had turned down a lot of collaborative offers. Murray saw it and responded.
That got Bucky’s attention fast, and he came back with a rewritten verse from Eminem’s “Stan,” addressed to Murray.
For context on how picky Pocketpair has been here, Palworld has only run two in-game crossovers since launch. Terraria arrived with Tides of Terraria in June 2025, and Ultrakill followed that December with the V1 and V2 armor sets. That’s it. So Bucky naming No Man’s Sky out loud carries a bit more weight than idle chatter.
Why a No Man’s Sky crossover would fit Palworld
The idea makes so much sense because Palworld already has a foot in space. The Falling Meteorite event drops rocks onto the Palpagos Islands at random by default, and the crater left behind spawns Xenovader, Xenogard or Selyne depending on where you are, Pals that look like they wandered in from an entirely different game.
Mine the rock and you walk away with Meteorite Fragments, which feed the Meteor Launcher and crush down into Paldium. Maybe Palworld gets a new tool borrowing the Mining Beam from No Man’s Sky. Maybe No Man’s Sky gets a planet where Xenovader, Xenogard and Selyne came from. The ideas make more sense than they don’t.

That two-way setup isn’t wishful thinking either. The Terraria collab ran in both directions. Palworld got the Terraria dungeon with Tides of Terraria, the Meowmere and a Moon Lord raid boss, and Terraria got Pals of its own in the 1.4.5 update, with Cattiva, Foxparks, Chillet and Digtoise showing up on Re-Logic’s side. Pocketpair has already done the version of this that trades content both ways.
The foundation is already there on both sides, and it wouldn’t take much to make a collaboration work within either game’s systems. They’d just be expanding what they already have.
That said, this is all speculation off two guys interacting on social media. It’s the kind that might have legs, though. Don’t be surprised if this happens sooner rather than later.
